RIDDEN CLASSES - UNOFFICIAL
Open to all breeds and to be run at the completion of the Supreme of Supreme awards at
the discretion of the KEA. Plaiting is optional.
Section G: Equestrian Events - RIDDEN CLASSES
Ring D - Leadline, First Ridden & Unofficial Ponies
Riders between the ages of 5 and 10 are permitted to enter the Leadline classes. Riders are expected to ride independent of their handlers and be able to control the pony at a walk and trot. Handlers are to leave a minimum distance of 1.5 metres between themselves and the rider. Ponies are not to exceed 12.2hh. Leadline & First Ridden riders are not eligible for other rider classes.
