Q10 – JUNIOR VEGETABLES, FRUITS AND HERBS

To be staged in the Ram Pavilion

Entries Close Thursday 25th October, 2012

 

CONDITIONS

Exhibits must be in place no later than 8:30am Saturday 27th October, 2012, at which time judging will commence. All exhibits must have been grown by the exhibitor and where possible be displayed on paper plates. Exhibits can be collected on Saturday 27th October from 6.00pm.

 

TROPHIES

Most Points Class 1-14, donated by BTW Spray Shop

Runner-Up, Most Points Class 1-14, donated by Barry & Lyn Kowald

CASH PRIZES - Best Silver Beet and Best Eggs. $5

 

CLASS

1.     Cabbage, any variety, with  leaves

2.     Peas, Telephone, plate of 8

3.     Peas, Greenfeast, plate of 8

4.     Peas, Snowpeas, plate of 8

5.     Broad Beans, 6 on a plate

6.     Beetroot, 3 on a plate, with some leaf

7.     Silver Beet, white, 6 stalks

8.     Silver Beet, coloured, 6 stalks

9.     Broccoli, 1 head

10.   Any other vegetable not previously mentioned

11.   6 Eggs, white - own container

12.   6 Eggs, brown - own container

13.   Collection of vegetables in a basket (No more than 7 varieties)

14.   Collection of traditional herbs in a basket (No more than 7 varieties, Labelled

15.   Any Vegetable or Herb growing in an old boot
